Geoff’s experience in inventory and business systems management includes operational, consulting and academic roles spanning 25 years.
   

Advising a wide range of companies at both strategic and operational level, Geoff has led assessment and execution projects that improved supply and demand logistics for major UK and worldwide manufacturers. Geoff holds a doctorate from Manchester Business School and is a former Chairman of the Institute of Operations Management. In 2002 he presented to the 12th International Symposium of Inventory Research in Budapest.

Liz Salter
Liz has over 15 years experience in manufacturing, with senior roles in operations management and manufacturing engineering.
   

She built her career at Eurotherm in an environment of highly configurable, build-to-order, complex electronic products on short lead times. As a project manager, she has led projects in Lead Time Reduction, Delivery Performance Improvement, Product Transfers, Cost Reduction, Resource Planning, New Product Introduction and Strategic Reviews. Liz has a Masters Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University.

Catherine Milner
Catherine is a Chartered Engineer and has nearly 20 years experience working in Aerospace, Petrochemicals and Telecommunications, mainly in operational roles.
   

Working both in the UK and on the continent, Catherine has been involved with manufacturing, customer service, logistics, supply chain management, group technology, and business process re-engineering.

As well as her operational roles, she has project managed many successful projects on electronic data exchange with customers, forecasting, MRP, supply chain management, and business process re-engineering, as well as working with the Institute of Operations Management and the Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Frances Robinson
Frances has 15 years of supply chain experience, including lean manufacturing, new product development, production engineering and procurement. She is also an experienced project manager, most recently in financial services.
   

She was an integral member of PROBE – a joint IBM, CBI and London Business School programme, with whom she published widely. Frances has helped a range of companies assess their supply chain and manufacturing processes – identifying and delivering Agendas for Change.

Nigel Goodrich
Nigel is a supply chain professional with 15 years experience managing complex projects and implementing negotiated solutions in the private and public sectors.
   

His expertise includes new product introduction, lean processes, cost management and programme management. He has worked with varied suppliers to improve the quality, cost and timing of new product introduction; restructured supply chains; resolved quality issues; and applied lean principles to new product introduction. As a mediator, Nigel has been praised by automotive supplier as "fair, whilst getting the job done."

Chris Bristow
Chris has 25 years experience in Finance, Administration and Consulting roles with US semiconductor companies and has lived and worked in Europe, the USA and Asia.
   

He has worked with Private Equity Finance in merger and acquisition activity and is a specialist in the integration of acquired companies. His other significant areas of expertise are in Business start-ups, Financial Management and Recruitment and Commercial Contract negotiations.

Mike Schmitt
Mike is a lean manufacturing practitioner with 15 years experience at board level management and consulting.
   

His expertise lies in business process re-engineering and the development and introduction of continuous improvement strategies as part of lean thinking. He has delivered bottom line benefits in the automotive and hi-tech sectors and has recently introduced lean manufacturing techniques to a Formula 1 engine producer.
