Geoff Relph

One of the UK's foremost leaders in the field of inventory and business systems management, Geoff's experience includes operational, consulting and academic roles spanning 30 years.

Advising a wide range of companies at both strategic and operational level, Geoff has led assessment and execution projects that improved supply and demand logistics for major manufacturers in the UK and worldwide.

He gained his 'hands on' experience in production control, MRP operations, and inventory management over 25 years in large blue chip companies such as Rolls Royce Motors, Crosfield Electronics (De La Rue Group), GEC-Marconi and IBM.

Geoff holds a doctorate from Manchester Business School, is a former Chairman of the Institute of Operations Management and in 2002 he presented to the 12th International Symposium of Inventory Research in Budapest. He is an associate lecturer for the Logistics and Operations Management Masters Degree at the University of Warwick.

He has been published in the 'International Journal of Operations Management', 'International Journal of Production Economics', and the IOM's 'Control'.
